Fast & Simple Steamed Potato

Ingredients

  • 1 large russet potato
  • 1 quart (1000ml) water
  • Kosher salt to taste

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil over high heat, and once to a boil reduce heat to a simmer. Place the steaming basket onto the pot.
  2. Season the boiling water generously with kosher salt, and place the potato into the steam basket. 
  3. Steam the potato until fork tender, about 50-60 minutes.
