Ingredients

  • 1 cup (224g) salted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, grated
  • ¼ cup (60g) spicy chili crisp, mostly the solids

Directions

  1. In a food processor, or with a handheld mixer, mix until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Place a sheet of plastic wrap down on a work surface and spread the butter into a seven-inch long strip on the lower third of the plastic wrap. Roll the plastic wrap around the butter into a thick log, fully enclosing it in the plastic wrap, pressing out any air bubbles as you go. Spin and roll up like a sausage, twisting the ends to secure and place in the fridge until solid.
  3. Once solid, you can cut rounds and place on anything you like such as steak, rice, eggs, or roasted vegetables.
