Serves: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Salt, to taste
3 tablespoons (36g) sugar
2 tablespoons (30g) vegetable oil
¼ cup (56g) corn kernels
Method:
To a blender, add the desired amount of kosher salt and the sugar and blend on high speed until it turns to powder.
To a 6-quart pot set over medium-high heat, add the vegetable oi and heat until just smoking. Add the popcorn kernels and sugar/salt mixture and top with a lid.
Continuously and vigorously shake the pot, holding the lid down, until the popping begins to subside, about 3-4 minutes.
Pour into a serving bowl and enjoy.
